First O₂ SERVES Project

On Sunday, July 19, 2026, a group from the O₂ Youth Center traveled to Calhoun, Illinois, for our first O₂ SERVES outreach.

Thirteen people showed up ready to help, and the team focused on picking up sticks and cleaning up the property. The heat was intense, so everyone took breaks as needed and stayed hydrated with plenty of water and drinks provided by the host.

The host also provided a free lunch of hot dogs, chips, macaroni and cheese, cookies, and drinks. We were incredibly grateful for their hospitality.

The KICK-GRASS crew showed up, worked hard, and made a real difference. Most importantly, the host was grateful for the help, and our team had the opportunity to serve the community together.

After the service project, the team shared the gospel with seven people. We had one red light (rejection), five who were already churched, and one green light (salvation and ready for discipleship).

O₂ SERVES is about more than completing a project. It is about showing the love of Christ through simple acts of service, sharing the gospel, and living commissioned wherever God sends us.
